There’s something about Spider-Man that no other superhero has to offer, and that is exactly what makes Spider-Man our favorite superhero of all time. Spider-Man was adapted into a live-action movie back in 2001 for the first time. It was exhilarating to see him out of the comic book pages and onto the big screen!
I’ve always been an avid Spider-Man fan, which means that I have watched all of the movies no less than a million times. The movies can be streamed on the internet as well, which makes it convenient to have a Spider-Man marathon. However, it is compulsory to have a flawless internet connection to stream all the movies back to back!
Considering that binging all Spider-Man movies will take up a hefty amount of your internet data, it will be wise to look into Xfinity Internet connection that’s perfect for binging. Even if you don’t have a marathon, here are some of the best Spider-Man movies that we really think you shouldn’t miss out on!
Spider-Man (2002)
Starting off with the movie that started it all. The first live-action Spider-Man movie came out back in 2002, which is 22 years ago! Many of us grew up watching this movie, and Tobey’s Peter Parker was probably the most charming person for us.
A nerdy loser who eventually turns into a superhero who nobody knows except for Mary Jane. However, it was the Computer-generated imagery(CGI) used in the movie that appealed to us.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
I think it is now safe to talk about the movie without potentially ruining it for anyone. This movie was a true icing on the cake for a hardcore Spider-Man fan. This is the only movie that featured all three Spider-Men in one movie, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland.
Even the story of the movie was pretty intriguing since it traverses through different Spider-Man universes and pulls in villains from other universes. These villains include Green Goblin, Sandman, Doc Ock, The Lizard, and Electro. It is quite an experience to watch all three Spider-Men fight against their respective enemies one more time.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
Speaking of the multiverse, how could I possibly leave out Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the first movie that ever introduced us to Miles Morales as Spider-Man? There’s something about this movie that really speaks to me, especially when it shows the struggles of Miles when he first becomes Spider-Man.
However, this movie is wholesome and both the Spider-Verse movies have an AMAZING soundtrack. The movie does show us Peter Parker, but Miles takes most of the limelight in the movie.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)
Since I mentioned the second part, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, it would be criminal of me if I didn’t mention it next. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse really had me at a loss for words.
At the start, our villain, The Spot, seems harmless and somewhat funny. However, towards the end of the movie, he becomes as menacing as he could be. Not only that, but the movie ends at such a WONDERFUL cliffhanger that I’ve been waiting for the next part to release ever since! You’ll have to watch the movie to see what it is.
Spider-Man 2 (2004)
A lot of people say that this is the best Spider-Man movie of all time, and I partly agree with this statement. There’s always that one point in everyone’s life where you hit rock bottom, even if you are a superhero.
That also happens with our beloved Peter Parker. The love of his life leaves him; he has an existential crisis and he also loses his powers briefly. However, Peter fights the slump that he is in, and he eventually redeems himself, which is what makes this movie so beautiful.
So if you ever need a pick-me-up movie when it comes to Spider-Man, then you should definitely watch Spider-Man 2!
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2012)
Even though the movie was a flop at the box office, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is the best Spider-Man movie in my opinion. It shows how Andrew Garfield’s Peter becomes a lot more confident as Spider-Man and how he takes on not one but two enemies in this movie-Electro and Hobgoblin.
However, the movie has a heart-wrenching moment towards the end of the movie, so if you haven’t seen it before, then you better keep a box of tissues ready!
Bonus Spider-Man Movies
In the end, I would like to leave you with a couple of more suggestions, since all Spider-Man movies are pretty promising. Once you are done with the ones mentioned above, you should also watch Spider-Man 3, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and The Amazing Spider-Man, which covers all Spider-Man movies!
